Parenting is difficult. This is why accountability in parenting is all the more important. This is true no matter how old your children are, but what accountability actually looks like can vary depending on your kids’ age. But, the fact remains that it’s up to us to stay accountable to our children and to our responsibilities as their parents. As parents, we can’t always say “yes” to our children, but we don’t have to say “no” all the time either. Sometimes staying accountable as a parent means checking our “no’s” too.
