Outside of fitness and nutrition, another way to manage stress is by optimizing our sleep, either by making it more restful or by getting more of it. What can you do to improve your sleep habits? You may not be ready to commit to eight hours a night, but perhaps you’re willing to take another step like wearing an eye mask, turning the temperature down a degree or two, or investing in some blackout curtains. Or maybe you could stop checking your phone immediately before going to sleep, or you could buy a better mattress that you’ve needed for a long time to enable you to sleep better.
