The ability to handle obstacles as they arise is a key to reaching your healthier living goals. I like to take a three-step approach to tackling anticipated obstacles. First, identify it. Next, anticipate it. And finally, plan for it. And when things come up that you didn’t anticipate, or that you had no control over, stay flexible and forgive yourself. Obstacles will come. The key is in how you plan to avoid them. And when they are unavoidable, the key is in how you handle them.
