There is a lot of information out there on the “right amount” of physical activity…
But the real answer is: it depends.
Remember, this isn’t one-size fits all! Health and fitness are very personal and specific. So, I want to get a little more specific this week and talk about a few more stages in our lives to consider when determining which guidelines are appropriate for us.
Last week we took a look at the physical activity guidelines for American adults and broke down the benefits and some considerations from a physical activity perspective. In this episode, I want to highlight some other important parts of the Physical Activity Guidelines (PAG), and address physical activity for kids, older adults, and women in the prenatal and post-natal stages.
Let’s get active!
Enjoy and thanks for listening!
