You may be familiar with the S.M.A.R.T. method of defining goals. It’s not a bad way to go about creating healthier habits. My Action Taker monthly members use a simple statement to accomplish the same thing. The statement is, “I will [insert action that you can control], and I will do it [number] times a week.” This statement includes all of the key parts of a S.M.A.R.T. goal, and presents them in an actionable format.
