How do you apply the small step approach to your fitness growth? Look at it through the lenses of the three fitness focus areas that I often talk about: movement and exercise, mobility and stretching, and rest and recovery. With a demanding job, I’ve had to make my exercise sessions shorter so I can fit them into my schedule. I’ve also started going to bed a little bit earlier on days when I want to exercise before work. Exercise in the office for a few quick minutes is also an option. When you start small, you can build on your approach.
