If you seek growth or improvement in certain areas of your life, it’s best to start from where you are, not where you eventually hope to reach. Oftentimes we think drastic change is required to reach our goals, and we try to make sweeping changes in our lives. A better approach is to start where you are, start with who you are, and make the change you seek to make fit you. Your goals are defined by who you want to be, but the best way to get there is by considering who you are. We have to remember that each of us is exactly where we’re supposed to be right now. But if you want to improve, that’s possible too.
