Having a mindset that looks toward the future with hope is a prerequisite for success. But sometimes we don’t even have a chance to start before thoughts about “why we can’t succeed” take over our mindset. We’re a bit too realistic at times, and that quells the motivation to be better. So start with the belief that you can. Let it develop a bit. Then, when it comes to moving out on that goal or better habit, be realistic about how you can. Don’t automatically slew to why you can’t. We define our reality largely by what we decide we can or can’t do. You can improve.
