Our perceived level of readiness is actually related to the perceived level of commitment required. If I had attempted intermittent fasting with the mindset and pressure of a life-long, permanent change, I probably would have never gotten started. But because I looked at it as just a short experiment, I was willing to give it a try. I have now been practicing intermittent fasting for over three years. Remember to separate the permanent from the temporary. Try healthy change without the pressure of an initial commitment.
