Roadmaps are critical in reaching your destination, and I’m hoping this episode is Point A on your roadmap to living a healthier life.
In the health coaching profession, there are several tools we use to help others improve their healthy living behaviors. One of the key areas we focus on is the mindset of the individual, and one of the tools we use is a behavioral change model: the Stages of Change. This is a well-established model and will be helping us draft our roadmap in this episode today.
It consists of 5 stages that every individual progresses through when making minor or major health-related changes. Why is this important? Well, because we like checklists. They keep us on track and give us concrete steps to tackle. So today, I want to give you the exact steps we need to take to be healthier, eat better, exercise more, and ultimately live better!
