I’ve never been hungry.
What I mean by that is that I’ve never been in a situation where I didn’t know where my next meal was coming from.
I’d venture to say that it is probably the same for most of you listening here (I could be wrong). Usually, when we think of hunger we think in terms of hours. But, our bodies deserve a lot of credit. The human body is very smart. You can try to trick it by starving yourself or by trying to eat more when you feel hungry, but there’s no tricking physics. What will fit in your stomach is what will fit…nothing more.
Of course, sometimes we aren’t hungry at all. Sometimes we confuse our cravings with hunger. While hunger and cravings are both physiological, hunger is also physical, while cravings are largely mental. This is what we’re discussing today.
